Hello, there! I am the Founder and CEO of Peel Away, and the inventor of the product Peelaways—the bedding industry’s first multilayered, disposable, 100% waterproof fitted sheet designed for the home, institutional, and healthcare markets.

I started this entrepreneurial journey as a student at the University of Arizona studying Environmental and Water Resource Economics where I combined my heartfelt dedication to our environment and water resources into the design of this innovative product. While living in a college dorm, I noticed many students did not change their bedsheets regularly because stripping the bed, doing the laundry, and remaking it was a major hassle. I also noticed my grandparents, at 90 years old, were struggling to change their own fitted sheets for similar reasons. Realizing this was a challenge for multiple life stages including parents of toddlers, end-of-life care and people with various health issues, I knew there had to be a better way.

I appeared on ABC’s Shark Tank in 2015, for a special “millennial startup-focused episode” and while I did not secure a deal, I was still able to raise millions in venture capital financing. For the next generation, the company has created a product that is 100% compostable and biodegradable. I sincerely hope that you find them helpful in your own life. And not to mention—during the feature on Shark Tank, the brand was called AFreSHeet, but due to confusion amongst the customers, we had to rebrand the name to Peel Away.

Last but not least, these disposable products are made up of a special blend of Bamboo, Viscose, and Polyester fibres combined with a breathable waterproof membrane that keeps you both—cool and comfortable.
